manitoba routes
i've been meaning to get here all week and write up a storm of all the things we've been up to: driving to penticton, calgary, the farm in eston, saskatoon, april snowstorms, manitoba. oh so much of manitoba!
christina an i have been doing house concerts in manitoba all week. a few in winnipeg, but mostly in rural areas south of the #1, and south of portage la prairie. the shows have been wonderful, the audiences have been gracious and lovely, and our hosts have been fabulous. what a great journey. one of the woman from our audience tonight at the Tiger Hills Art Gallery in Holland, MB, offered to take us out for a wagon ride tomorrow through the dessert nearby. dessert? hills? manitoba? it's true. these little secrets we canadians hide from each other... or choose not to remember.
anyhow, christina has been taking lots of photos so i promise to write more and add lots of pics from our trip so far.
